Nestled between hills and Nelson city centre, this historic cottage is located in the safe, friendly residential neighbourhood of The Wood. Only ten minutes walk to Nelson city centre, the cottage is a private, peaceful and cosy home away from home. Offering the styling and quality furnishings of a boutique b&b at a fraction of the cost, this self contained cottage is ideal for couples looking for a romantic get-away or central base for exploring the Nelson region.

Retaining the original facade from 1866, the cottage has been renovated to provide a welcoming environment including a heat pump. The bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed with luxurious linens and electric blankets. The living room has a TV, Freeview, free WiFi, DVD and stereo/iPod dock. There is a collection of books, magazines, CDs and DVDs for guests’ enjoyment. The well equipped kitchen includes pantry basics such as tea, coffee, flour, seasonings, olive oil, etc. A sunroom with dining table and sofa overlooks the hills and lush private sunny garden.
